Keri Marshall, MS, ND

Dr. Keri Marshall is a licensed naturopathic doctor who specializes in pediatrics, women's medicine and chronic disease management. Dr. Marshall has published several scientific papers, magazine articles, has written a book on proteins and amino acids, and appears regularly in the media including radio shows, ABC's "A View from the Bay," PBS's "Healing Quest"and NPR. Dr. Marshall has served as a scientific adviser to Citizens for Health, a nutrition advisor to the United States Sugar Association, and as a nutrition expert in her local public school district and on a national level for the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. She also serves on several advisory boards for peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Marshall is currently the Chief Medical Officer for Nordic Naturals. Dr. Marshall received her Naturopathic Medical degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR, her Masters in Epidemiology from SUNY at Buffalo, and her BS from the George Washington University. She maintains a small private practice in Bethesda, MD.

Stuart Tomc, CNHP

 

With over twenty years experience in the field of Nutritional Medicine, Stuart Tomc is an authority on evidence-based dietary supplements. He is a respected consultant to the World Health Organization and integrative physicians worldwide having traveled the world as an educator and trainer for over 10 years. With an accomplished background in media appearances, Stuart is adept at educating, entertaining, and delivering a powerful message on important health subjects in today’s changing world. In addition, he was a contributing writer in Dr. Perricone’s Seven Secrets to Beauty, Health and Longevity. Stuart currently serves as National Educator and Spokesperson for Nordic Naturals. Stuart has been interviewed on over 2,000 radio interviews including NPR, “The Willner Window,” “Healthy Talk Radio,” and “Let’s Talk Nutrition” with Dr. Garko. He has also been a frequent co-host for the past five years on “To Your Health” with Dr. Chris Greene. In addition, he has appeared on almost 50 television shows and exhibited at over 150 natural health and product shows. Christopher Mohr, PhD, RD, CSSD


Dr. Mohr is a fitness/nutritional expert with an innovative, integrated approach to wellness, weight loss, nutrition and exercise supported by years of experience in academics, research and practical fieldwork. As the owner of Mohr Results, Inc., he has been a consultant to a number of media outletsand corporations including the Discovery Health Channel and University of Louisville Athletics. Dr. Mohr appears regularly as a “nutrition” guest on radio and TV and has written over 500 articles for consumer publications, newspapers, and websites including Men’s Health, Weight Watchers Magazine, and Fitness Magazine. Dr. Mohr has Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Nutrition from Penn State University and the University of Massachusetts, respectively. He received his PhD in exercise physiology, with a focus on the treatment and prevention of overweight and obesity, from the University of Pittsburgh, is a registered dietician (RD) and a board-certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD).

Hector L. Lopez, MD, MS, FAAPMR


A board-certified specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Hector Lopez is recognized as an active researcher, speaker, author, and clinician who integrates nutrition, exercise science, sports and musculoskeletal medicine, endocrinology, and metabolism into his private practice with patients, his work with recreational and elite athletes, and through his public educational initiative. He has presented nationally and published articles and scientific abstracts on various topics related to nutrition, stroke, orthopaedic injuries, chronic pain disorders, athletic performance, optimal aging, and physician-based exercise prescription. In addition, Dr. Lopez is a consultant to professional athletes and the nutritional supplement industry as product developer, researcher, and writer. Dr. Lopez received his training at the world-renowned Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine—Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, and holds a Masters degree in nutritional biochemistry with concentration in exercise science. His clinical interests include: spine, sports and orthopaedic medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine, interventional spine and pain management, optimal aging, and sarcopenia. His research interests include hormonal modulation and nutritional intervention to improve human performance and rehabilitation outcomes of injured patients. Dr. Lopez is the founding partner and medical director of three facilities in New Jersey that focus on integrative rehabilitation medicine and human performance to treat patients with the full spectrum of orthopaedic injuries.

Tori Hudson, ND


Dr. Tori Hudson is a naturopathic physician, national lecturer, author, award winning researcher and educator with over 25 years of experience and expertise in women’s health. She is currently in private practice serving as the Medical Director of A Woman’s Time Clinic and is the Program Director at the Institute of Women’s Health and Integrative Medicine. A well-respected educator in her field, Dr. Hudson serves as a clinical professor at several educational institutions that serve the medical profession. An extensive writer, her book Women’s Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine is in its second edition, 2008, and she is well-published with other books, research papers, and scores of articles, both consumer and professional, including a monthly column in the Townsend Newsletter for Doctors. Dr. Hudson also appears on many local and network radio and TV programs that have included appearances on “Good Morning America,” PBS’s “Healthy Living Series,” and Lifetime’s “New Attitudes.” She is the founder and director of an herbal/nutritional supplement company that specializes in women’s health. Dr. Hudson practices integrated medicine utilizing nutrition, nutraceuticals, herbs, bio-identical hormones, and other therapies for all gynecological and primary care conditions. Shoshana Bennett, PhD


Shoshana Bennett, PhD, (“Dr. Shosh”) is a pioneer and a leading national expert in the field of postpartum depression. She is the author of Postpartum Depression For Dummies and co-author of Beyond the Blues: Understanding and Treating Prenatal and Postpartum Depression. Her latest book, Pregnant on Prozac, was released in January 2009. As a survivor of two life-threatening undiagnosed postpartum depressions, she has helped over 18,000 women worldwide through individual consultations, support groups, and wellness seminars. Dr. Shosh founded Postpartum Assistance for Mothers in 1987 and is a former president of Postpartum Support International. As a noted guest lecturer and keynote speaker, she travels throughout the US and abroad, training medical and mental health professionals to assess and treat postpartum depression and related mood disorders. She has earned three teaching credentials, two masters degrees, a PhD, and is licensed as a clinical psychologist. Several publications including the San Francisco Chronicle and the San Jose Mercury News have written articles on Dr. Shosh’s work. She is interviewed regularly on national radio and television such as “20/20” and “The Doctors” and has been quoted in dozens of publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Glamour, Psychology Today, New York Post, Self, Cosmopolitan, and The Chicago Tribune. A strong advocate for mothers’ well-being, Dr. Shosh created guided imagery audios that are specifically focused on helping moms take care of themselves. Currently, she is working to pass legislation that helps reduce the incidence and impact of postpartum mood disorders.

Mackie Shilstone, MBA

Aimée Shunney, ND

Dr. Aimée Shunney has a private practice in Santa Cruz, California where she blends conventional medical diagnosis and treatment with the use of natural therapeutics. Dr. Shunney graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a BA in psychology. After completing her post-graduate pre-med course work, she attended the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon where she received her Naturopathic Medical Degree in 2001. Dr. Shunney specializes in women's health, functional endocrinology, and family medicine. She is also co-host of Green Tea & Honey, a weekly radio show about integrative medicine, delicious food & the joys of eating, and co-creator of Cleanse Organic, a 28-day fully supported whole foods cleansing program designed to optimize health and create sustainable healthy living choices.

  Lauren Zimet, CCC/SLP

Passionate about giving children a healthy start in life, Lauren Zimet, MS,CCC/SLP is a speech, language and early communication specialist with more than 15 years of professional experience. A speaker and educator, she provides individualized speech therapy, leads group workshops and seminars, and provides training and consultation to teachers, parents and other professionals. Lauren has had her work featured in several books including The LCP Solution, Baby Love and The Late Talker, as well as magazines such as Parenting and Advance for Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists. Lauren is the founder of The Healthy Foundations Program, which facilitates brain health education in Georgia -- teaching children about their brains and bodies in order to make healthy choices. Over the years, Lauren has incorporated an integrative approach into her practice, drawing heavily from her Neuro-Developmental Training (NDT) background. She has augmented her education by studying nutrition and brain health, developing a holistic perspective to her work with growing children. Lauren is a registered Better Brains for Babies (BBB) trainer, and provides guidance to new- and soon-to-be-new parents regarding the complex issues of raising a newborn. Lauren earned her Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology in 1995 from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and her Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. Dr. Bazilian is also the Nutrition Advisor to the renowned Golden Door spa and fitness resort in Escondido, California. She serves on a variety of national clinical and professional committees that help move the science of nutrition and sound application of nutritional and supplement regulation forward for the public. Dr. Bazilian is a professional writer on nutrition and exercise, having published over 200 articles for corporate and other media. She is author of The SuperFoodsRx Diet: Lose Weight with the Power of SuperNutrients (Rodale). An avid food enthusiast, Dr. Bazilian has written for and her advice has been featured in numerous magazines including Martha Stewart Living, O-The Oprah Magazine, Town & Country, SELF, FIRST for Women, Allure among others. Dr. Scott Minton, PhD

 

Dr. Scott Minton, PhD, has over a decade experience as a biology professor, has worked as clinical and laboratory researcher and in recent years as a nutritional consultant. 
Dr. Minton earned both a Master's and Ph.D. in Resource Ecology from the University of Michigan.  He was a tenured Associate Professor at Vanguard University in the Biological Sciences.  Dr. MInton has completed two years of medical training at Ross University School of Medicine and holds a certification in Health and Fitness by the American College of Sports Medicine. 

As a nutritional consultant, Dr. Minton practiced evidence-based nutrition.  
He based his dietary programs on a comprehensive intake process and advanced nutritional laboratory testing.  This individual-centered strategy yielded successful experiences for patients with longstanding fatigue, excess weight gain, digestive distress, lowered immune function, hormone imbalances and other inflammatory conditions.

 

 

 
       
         
   

Dr. Michael Traub

 

Dr. Traub graduated from NCNM in 1981. He was board-certified by the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians in 1989 and in 2007 by the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (ABNO). He serves on the ABNO Board of Examiners.

He served as AANP President from 2001-2003 and in 2006 received the AANP Physician of the Year Award. He has taught dermatology at most of the naturopathic medical schools, and is the author of "Essentials of Dermatologic Diagnosis and Integrative Therapeutics." He has practiced in Kailua Kona for the past 26 years, and is Chairman of the Hawaii Board of Naturopathic Medicine.
