Watsonville, CA (September 10, 2008) It is with great respect and a fond farewell that Nordic Naturals, America’s premier fish oil company, announces today that Dr. Douglas “Duffy” MacKay has terminated his role as Research Advisor for the company and has accepted the position of Vice President of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs at the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), a trade association located in Washington D.C that represents dietary supplement ingredient suppliers and manufacturers.

Dr. MacKay served as Nordic Naturals Research Advisor for four years where he facilitated the numerous ongoing human clinical trials using Nordic Natural products, developed and tested new product formulations, interfaced with healthcare professionals and the media plus authored research-based educational materials for professionals and consumers.
