Nordic Naturals® Hosts Omega-3 Eye Health Lecture At International Vision Expo and Conference in New York

Watsonville, CA (March 1, 2011) Nordic Naturals® invites all expo attendees to attend an informative lecture entitled “The Importance of Nutrition and Dry Eye Syndrome and Macular Degeneration” by Dr. David Nelson, O.D, MBA, on Friday, March 18th, 2011 from 2:45-3:45 p.m. in room #7 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center during the International Vision Expo and Conference, March 16th-20th. The lecture by Dr. Nelson will focus on why supplements may be beneficial to patients' long term health and why primary eye care and medical optometry practitioners can have greater confidence in educating and recommending important supplements such as omega-3 essential fatty acids and carotenoids. He will also cover research, clinical care options for the future and the importance of preventive measures. Continuing education credit is being offered for the presentation.
