Watsonville, CA (August 20, 2012) Nordic Naturals, the leader in clinical omega-3 nutrition, will host “Omega-3 Fish Oil: The Ideal Complement to the Optometric Practice,” a lecture by Dr. Millicent Knight, O.D., at the International Vision Expo and Conference in Las Vegas from September 5^th–8^th.

Dr. Knight, who has served on the National Advisory Council of the National Eye Institutes, will speak on Thursday, September 6^th from 2:45–3:45 pm in Room 902 at the Venetian Hotel. CE credit is available.

Dr. Knight, who is the Illinois Optometric Association’s current “Optometrist of the Year,” has firsthand experience in using essential fatty acids to successfully treat patients. She is completing training in health coaching through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and a Fellowship through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Knight owns North Shore Eye Center, Inc. in Evanston, Illinois. She has been in practice for more than 20 years.
