Nordic Naturals Announces “Golden Cod Experience” Contest Winners

(January 7, 2008) Nordic Naturals announced today the lucky winners of the 2007 Golden Cod Experience, a special opportunity for natural product retailers. In December, Nordic Naturals shipped 5,000 dark chocolate bars to qualifying natural product retailers throughout the United States. Only 4 bars of the 5,000 contained winning Golden Cod Experience tickets. The other winning ticket was claimed by Shelia Wallace, Store Manager from Fabulous Foods, at Natural Products Expo East last September when she placed an order at the show and received a chocolate bar with a winning ticket. Upon finding the golden cod ticket, Sheila announced, “This is my first Natural Products Expo and Nordic Naturals is the first booth I visited. I so appreciate the opportunity to enjoy the festivities in California.”

    * Coborn’s Natural Foods in Sartell, Minnesota
    * Basic Foods in Beaumont, Texas
    * Nature’s General Store in Bend, Oregon
    * Fabulous Foods in Crozet, Virginia

Prize Details

A representative from these five retail stores along with a guest will be flown to Nordic Naturals’ California headquarters on March 9th of 2008. The lucky winners will stay at the Sea Cliff Inn located in Aptos, California, for 3 nights while enjoying the special events planned just for this occasion. Activities include a winner’s banquet, a tour of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Research Institute, a VIP tour of Nordic Naturals’ California headquarters and an educational summit with Dr. Douglas MacKay, Research Advisor for Nordic Naturals and Stuart Tomc, national educator. Timed just prior to Expo West 2008, winners have the option to make their experience a 3-way round trip, including airfare to Anaheim for Expo and then home again!
