Watsonville, California (February 21, 2013) Nordic Naturals® is what’s happening at this year’s Natural Products Expo West with education, promotions, new products, contests, happy hour, and Viking fun! The company is exhibiting at booth #1820 at the Anaheim Convention Center March 8–10, 2013. • Green Education: “Growing Need, Growing Supply, Setting the Standards for Sustainability,” a special interactive panel presentation, is set for Saturday, March 9th, 1:00-2:30 pm. Panelists include omega-3 and fishery management experts: Dr. Ski Chilton, an Associate Director of Research at Wake Forest University Medical Center; Adam Ismail, Executive Director of GOED; and, Anthony Bimbo, Technical Consultant to International Fisheries Technology. Stuart Tomc, Nordic Naturals Global Educator, will moderate the event, which will take place in the Marriott Hotel’s Platinum Ballroom 5. Attendees will learn about the status of the omega-3 fishing industry and its effect on our oceans, as well as the future sustainability of omega-3s. Retailers who attend may pick up an authorized order form following the presentation to receive an additional 5% off their show orders, for a total discount up to 25%. • Become an Expert: Retailers are invited to find out how to “Learn and Earn!” with Nordic Naturals innovative, new online training program. Retailers can preview the training at the Nordic Naturals booth and sign up to participate. For the first 150 people to complete the interactive training, Nordic Naturals will ship a prize pack valued at $100. Participants will also earn free Nordic Naturals products and be eligible to win ongoing contests as they educate themselves on the Nordic Naturals brand, the importance of omega-3s, and product solutions for customers. • New Products are Essential: This year’s lineup includes EPA Elite™, one of the most powerful EPA-only concentrates available without a prescription, and Nordic CoQ10 Ubiquinol™, with 100 mg of ubiquinol to support energy production and cardiovascular health. In addition, retailers who place show orders at the booth will automatically be entered to win a free 48-bottle floor display. • Viking Hats & Prizes: Viking hats will be given away at the Nordic Naturals booth. Attendees who are spotted wearing a Nordic Naturals Viking hat on the show floor by a designated Nordic Naturals representative, will win one of 50 prizes – including cash! • Happy Hour with the Nordic Team: Show-goers are invited to stop by the booth from 4:00–6:00 pm on Friday and Saturday to mix and mingle with the Nordic Naturals team and give cheers to a great show.
